Sunflower Guesthouse, Kolkata

I chose this guest house in Kolkata based on its good reputation and was pleased with my experience. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. While the rooms were basic and lacked some amenities, the price was very reasonable. On the downside, the lack of a proper closet or fridge in the room might not suit longer stays, and the service could be a bit hit or miss.

While the Sunflower Guest House has a prime central location and reasonably priced rooms, my experience was marred by some issues. The management's demeanor was notably off-putting, making it hard to feel welcome. Additionally, be cautious when booking a deluxe room, as they may try to place you in lesser accommodations unless you insist otherwise.
